Led the design and implementation of Almende’s contribution to the European Factory Platform (EFPF), a Horizon 2020 initiative aimed at integrating supply chain and factory management tools via an MQTT-based publish/subscribe architecture. Identified critical gaps in existing solutions and co-developed a user-friendly analysis tool, empowering factory managers with intuitive data analysis and alarm functionalities. Integrated Crownstone smart home devices within the platform to enable real-time data access, enhancing experimental capabilities for tool providers and strengthening the platform’s overall utility. Our contributions were instrumental in demonstrating EFPF's effectiveness during project evaluations.
